Headcovers

Now that you have your bag picked out, it's time to create some custom headcovers!

Winston offers a full grain leather custom headcover in 15 stock colors, giving you 225 different color combinations.  The headcover can be all one color or you can select one color for the front and a different color for the back.    

In addition to customizing the colors of the leather, you can also personalize your logo, name, and club number.  You also have the option to select a raw bottom or a turned bottom.  The headcover comes in 3 different sizes-driver, fairway, and hybrid.

Winston recently added the Dancing Logo headcover.  You still have the option to select the color of the leather, as well as the type of bottom you would like.  When purchasing a dancing Walnut Creek logo, keep in mind there is a 5 piece minimum.  


Another company that offers custom headcovers is AM&E.  The most popular option is the Reverb Classic, which has leather on the front and fur on the back.  AM&E offers 15 color options in the ultra leather, 10 in the ultra leather plus, and 20 color/pattern options in the stretch fur.  You have the option to add the Walnut Creek Country Club logo, your initials or name, and the club number.

AM&E offers driver, fairway, hybrid, and putter cover headcovers.  Turnaround is usually about 3-4 weeks.

Golf Bags

Looking for a new bag this season?  Lathwell's Golf shop is the place to start your search!

When purchasing a golf bag, you must first decide if you want a cart bag or a stand bag.  

                                 

Cart Bags
Cart bags average between 6-7lbs and are designed to fit perfectly on the back of a golf cart or a pull cart, while still allowing access to all of the pockets.  

Stand Bags
Stand bags usually weigh about 5lbs, making the stand bag a more practical option for the golfer who walks or takes a caddie on a regular basis. However, it will also sit comfortably on the back of a golf cart! Stand bags have retractable legs to help keep the bag upright on uneven surfaces out on the course, and backpack shoulder straps to help distribute weight evenly while carrying the bag.

There are also several various divider options when selecting a golf bag.  

14-Way Top
The 14-way has a slot for each club.  In some of the higher-end bags the dividers extend all the way to the bottom of the bag, preventing grips from intertwining with each other.

Woode Top (Ogio)
The woode top is specific to Ogio bags.  There is an individual slot for your driver, fairways, hybrids and putter.  The 3 larger slots are allocated for your irons.  This is a great option for the golfer who likes their bag organized, but doesn't care for the 14-way top.

5-Way Top  (Taylormade and Ping)
The 5-way top is divided into 3 separate sections. Two of the sections are additionally divided in half, while the front section remains open for wedges and your putter.
